Children birth -5 years old with their caregivers learn songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability. Two CDs with all the songs we will learn this semester (as well as a personalized code to link to free mp3 downloads for additional copies of our songs) and a beautifully illustrated song book are included.

Druk American Shito Ryu Karate Do (DASRKD) is a non-profit community based Karate organization committed toward its immediate community with special focus on engaging children, youths and adults for their physical and mental development. DARSKD, formerly known as Shito Ryu Karate Association of Bhutan (SKAB) & Bhutan Karate Federation (BKF) was started by a group of Bhutanese youths in 1992 while they were living as refugees in Nepal. At present, DASRKD is a member of USA Karate. DASRKD is also a member organization of International Mabuni-Ha Shito Ryu Karate Association (IMSKA), New Jersey and receives technical support in Kumite (sparring) and Kata (pattern).
