Samadhi Yoga specializes in Hatha with an Ashtanga influence. Hatha yoga includes postural practices (asanas) and pranayama practice (breath work). Peace and serenity happen when incorporating the two elements. This is a gentle and slow flow where poses are held for longer breaths. This particular class focuses on compassion for your body and mental health. Some classes may incorporate chanting, vinyasa flow (fast paced sequence), and restorative sequences (calming and relaxing) in our practice. Each class is tailored specifically to the participants needs and desires. $15/drop-in, $10 for veterans, seniors, and students, $80 for 8 prepaid classes. Visit samadhiyogaandwellness.com for more information or contact Melissa at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Children birth -5 years old with their caregivers learn songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement, and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences--developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers--regardless of their own musical ability. Two CDs with all the songs we will learn this semester (as well as a personalized code to link to free mp3 downloads for additional copies of our songs) and a beautifully illustrated song book are included.
